What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in time is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. It’s recommended to inform management in advance if you plan to arrive outside these hours.
Check-out time is between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit ($500 USD) is typically required upon arrival. This is refundable upon check-out if no damage is incurred.
What is the cancellation policy?

High and Low Season
- This rate is fully flexible before 14 days of arrival, can cancel, postpone and modify the reservation without any penalty except administrative charge (10%)
- This rate does not allow changes or refunds within 14 days. In case of cancellation, no refund will be made.
- Modification, Cancellation, Early departure, and No Show of the reservation apply a full penalty for the stay.
- In case of refunds, an administrative charge and commissions of 10% will be applied.
- To confirm your reservation a 100% deposit will be taken at the time of booking.
Peak Season and Fishing Tournaments
- This rate is fully flexible up to 30 days prior to arrival.
- You may cancel, postpone, or modify your reservation without penalty, except for a 10% administrative fee.
- Within 30 days prior to arrival, no changes or refunds are permitted.
- In case of cancellation, no refund will be issued.
- Modifications, cancellations, early departures, and no-shows within this period incur a full penalty for the entire stay.
- For any refunds, a 10% administrative fee and applicable commissions will be deducted.
- To confirm your reservation: A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Is breakfast included in the rate?
No, breakfast isn’t included as part of your stay at the Marina Pez Vela Villas. However, each villa is fully furnished with a complete kitchen, giving you the flexibility to prepare your own meals at your convenience. Additionally, you’ll find many excellent options for breakfast right here within the Marina Pez Vela property, ranging from casual cafes to more substantial dining experiences.
Are pets allowed in the villas?
Pets are allowed upon request, and an additional fee of $100+tax apply with a maximum of two pets per villa. It’s important to confirm this upon reservation.
How many people can stay per villa?
Villas vary in size, from 2 to 3 bedrooms. Each has specific capacities, so it’s important to check the capacity of your desired villa when booking.
Our two-bedroom villas have capacity for up to 4 guests.
Our three-bedroom villas have capacity for up to 8 guests.
Do the villas have equipped kitchens?
Yes, our villas come with fully equipped kitchens.
Is the daily cleaning service provided?
Yes, daily cleaning service is included.
Is Wi-Fi available in the villas?
Yes, each villa has its own Wi-Fi.
Is there a pool at the villas?
Yes, the villas feature an outdoor swimming pool.
What other basic services do the villas offer?
In addition to kitchens and Wi-Fi, they include air conditioning, televisions, private bathrooms, living areas, and some may have a balcony or terrace with views.
Is parking available?
Yes, free private and covered parking is available on the property at no extra cost.

What activities can be done at Marina Pez Vela and its surroundings?
- Sport Fishing: It’s the primary departure point for sport fishing tours, with charters available for inshore or offshore fishing. It also hosts major fishing tournaments.
- Marine Tours: Catamaran excursions (with snorkeling), whale and dolphin watching tours (seasonal), jet ski tours, and parasailing.
- Adventure Tours: You can arrange ATV tours, white-water rafting, canopy (zip-lining), horseback riding, and visits to Manuel Antonio National Park.
- Shopping: The marina has a commercial plaza with souvenir shops, fishing apparel, and other items.
- Relaxation: There are bars to enjoy the sunset and a private spa service with a delightful menu to enjoy at the privacy of your villa.

How close is Las Villas Marina Pez Vela to Manuel Antonio National Park?
It’s a short drive away. About 10–15-minute drive.
How can I get to Las Villas Marina Pez Vela from the airport?
The closest airport is La Managua Airport (XQP) in Quepos, just a few kilometers away. You can also arrive from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José by car (approximately 2.5-3 hours) or by domestic flights to Quepos.
Do the villas have an onsite laundry machine?
While we don’t have laundry facilities directly on the property, we’ve partnered with a reliable third-party laundry service to handle your needs. Just let us know if you’d like to arrange a pickup.
Is there a gym?
Yes, guests also have access to our on‑site fitness center, available daily for your convenience.
Are there hair dryers in the villas?
